Patricia Johanson

Projects in Dallas, San Francisco, Petaluma, Salt Lake City and Scranton combine art, ecology and infrastructure into public landscapes, incorporating flood-basins, sewers, water-treatment systems, flood-control structures and restored wildlife habitats into parks and trails accessed by sculpture. From mine-scarred land to highway structures, she designs places where life can flourish.
